The overall idea of this dress is great but it didn’t work for me. I am 5’8″ with a little longer torso than the average woman so this dress hit like an empire waist on me. Then I purchased this in the Fleece which was too bulky of a fabric for the style. In other words it isn’t very flattering on me. However, it is very warm and cozy, which has been much appreciated in the colder temperatures. I got this in Amethyst and I love the color as always. It almost has a tie-dye appearance to it so my inner hippie revels in the nostalgic effect. I think I’ll try the “drop waist” version of this dress in a lighter weight fabric and I’m sure it will be exactly what I need. As always, the dress was very, very well made and will likely outlast me.

One of my new favorite go-to dresses. I am 5’4″, 160 lbs and I got the Fleece in Medium, which fits great and is super cozy. I also fit easily into Small tops and more flared-cut dresses however for more fitted Fleece dresses I’ve been option for size Medium to make sure I have enough movement in the hips and bicep. I got the Midnight color thinking it was a safe bet since it appears blue in this photo in this fabric. It is however more like black, which is still fine, but I’m thinking of using some color remover and over-dyeing withe blue again (since I have blue dye and know how to do that).
