Honoring Each Spirit
I believe that everything has a dynamic life force, personality, vibration, and divinity that deserves respect an autonomy. You, Me, Animals, Plants, Rivers, Minerals, The Stars and Planets, The Sea, The Air, Mycylium, Gods and Goddesses, Celestial Beings, The Elements, Stories, Language, Micro-organisms and all things still undiscovered or simply unseen. It’s my goal to be in right relationships with all Beings by acknowledging the unique knowledge, healing, and vibration their presence brings.
We have always had the ability to commune with the life forces that surround us and it is only in recent human history that we have forgotten. I’m so excited to see more and more people are reactivating these relationships and sharing their journey. It is through this shift in consciousness we will return to a more sustainable and balanced relationship with Gaia. Thank you for joining me in my humble attempt to honor these relationships in my work.
I’m excited to spend this life in a space of learning through apprenticeship, classes, personal practices, and simply holding space for this to come forward or change at any given moment. This is my souls work and spans many incarnations.
Below is a list of all Beings, known to me, who are present during the making of this specific offering. While I will give a brief descriptions of why I have chosen each for this Offering and their unique vibrations, this is mostly about holding space and gratitude for their presence. I would like to apologize to any beings I forget to mention and ask that I will have the humility and ability to see, hear, and feel you as I move forward with these offerings in the future.
The Land
The land on which I currently live and make these offerings is Catawba Indigenous Lands.
Goddess Durga, Goddess Kali, and Goddess Lakshmi
I am currently joining Laura Amazzone in her Goddess Durga and Goddess Kali Sadhanas on each New Moon and Sadhanas to the Goddess Lakshmi on each Full Moon. Because I’m developing a relationship with these goddesses I think it is important to mention that their presence is a part of these offerings. I’ll be sharing more about this in an upcoming Gaia Goddess post so be sure to follow our Newsletter at the bottom of the page if you want to learn more.
Mugwort
Mugwort is the shaman of the plant world, a guide for both plants and animals to understand their own magic, their medicine, their souls. For Me Mugwort is a guide as I make each offering and it reminds me that all beings have a life energy, a “body” of sensitivity and feelings, and a spiritual essence or Self. Mugwort is also a guide for the other beings present to help them navigate their unique gifts to all called to participate in this offering. To learn more about my personal relationship with Mugwort and how they are a part of this process visit here.
Organic Cotton
The energetics that come through when working with cotton as a fabric are I’m soft, open, and supportive while also having healthy boundaries. It’s a wonderful fabric to wear when the day calls for an empath shield.
Hemp
There are so many things that I could say about the energetic and medicinal qualities of hemp but in an effort to keep it short and sweet I will touch on the ones that are most relevant when worn against the skin. Hemp has anti-viral and anti-fungal properties as a fiber, is strong and durable, and has a slight texture that exfoliates and stimulates the skin. It’s vibration is very calming, reducing stress, anxiety, and lowering cortisol and inflammation.
Nettles
Nettles is in abundance during this time of year and when meditating on what plant spirits wanted to be apart of this offering Nettles came through the strongest. Energetically they remind us not to judge a book by it’s cover, that there is always a sivler lining, and that behind the sting of life is deep nurturing and wisdom. The root also possesses cytotoxic T lymphocytes, which are very important for our immune defense against intra-cellular pathogens, including viruses and bacteria. I think Nettles is hear as a facilitator, guardian, and medicinal ally during this time of transition. Her print on the fabric is also faint reminding us to be gentle with ourselves and others.
Jasmine
They are joining this ritual to help bring balance to the nervous system and to help us see things from a softer perspective. Jasmines opens the heart chakra, making it easier to find clarity when confused and build compassion for ourselves and others.
Skullcap
Skullcap is an extremely comforting herb. It is here to promote emotional well-being and relaxation during times of distress. Skullcap’s has the ability to calm on an over-excited nervous system, soothing it and slowing nerve impulses a little, helps ease a variety of nervous complaints, including anxiety and anxiety-related depression, racing mind, insomnia, overthinking, and hyperactivity.
Tulsi
Tulsi helps to move stuck energy. Initially stimulating, but follows with a strong sense of calm and feeling grounded. This quality moves us out of a blocked energy into a grounded and open energy. Tulsi encourages devotion and gratitude by opening the heart chakra.
Lavender
Lavender is also here to encourage gentle movement in a new direction. It is both stimulating and relaxing at the same time. It can help Qi descend to the center of the body while dispersing it to the extremities. Keeping a steady flow of Qi tones and strengthens the Immune system.
Pomegranate
They are present in this Offering to help lesson the impact of stress in or bodies and for their rich anti-inflammatory compounds. Pomegranates are extremely healthy for those suffering from immune-related disorders like rheumatoid arthritis and osteroarthrits. They are also rich in vitamin C, which boosts antibody production and helps in the development of immunity. Pomegranates can thus help you maintain a healthy immune system and keep common illnesses and infections at bay.
Chamomile
Chamomile is most in tune with and brings balance to the Solar Plexus Chakra. It Channels the gentle and warming sun to promote rest and relaxation. Much like a bright Summer Day It promotes a serene, happy disposition that is emotionally balanced.
Saffron (Crocus)
I chose Crocus to help us cast off skepticism and limiting beliefs so that we may open in softness to the Beings present in this offering. It promotes openness, clarity, and speaking ones truth.
YIN
Reishi, He Shou Wu, Pearl, Tocos, Ashwagandha, Pine Pollen, Artagulus
This is a tonic created by Sun Potion crafted to nourish feminine energy and harmonize the whole system. I use it daily and felt called to add it to the water bath during the bundle dyeing process. It balances Immunity, Creative Energy, Hormonal Balance, Mental Clarity, Stress Relief, Cellular Regeneration, Radiance, Healthy Circulation, Emotional Equilibrium, and Libido
Flower Essence of Rhododendron
I have added One Willow Apothecaries Rhododendron Flower essence to the water of the dyeing process to help me locate and unfold my inner strength and ultimate heart, revealing myself as fertile, capable, and grounded in a place of self-sustainability that ultimately incites the growth of those around me.
Flower Essence of Scleranthus
is here to help support a stable outlook.
Orchid is here to assist us in moving past doubt and connect us to our Yoni Shakti Womb Power. We have entered into a time of great change and with it great power will rise to be in service of each individual. Orchid helps us to each find and cultivate our unique magic and share our divinity in the most effective way.
